The following images show the proposed MAGE flight path over the Valles Marineris, and separately, the Mars Digital Image Mosaic base image and MAGE flightpath. The ellipse at the northern end of the flightpath represents the uncertainty in the location of the airplane after entry, and the dashed lines show that this uncertainly has no effect on the general and specific studies to be conducted. The leg lengths are as follows:
